| Description The smooth sound of salsa hits the downtown scene when Los Hot Boxers play the Blank’s Wednesday Night Live. Christian Vela, the group’s lead singer/guitarist, has been involved with several different projects over the last 10 years, across a range of styles. However, he seems to be most at home with his acoustic guitar in hand. Drawing inspiration from the East Side working man, Los Hot Boxers’ mellow music has the ability to transport the listener away from the crummy job, the obnoxious boss and frustrating co-workers. It also tends to get people up and dancing. Aivar and Max Cabello & The Breakdown open the show. |
