LOS HIGH TOPS are one of the area's best rockabilly outfits. The editors of Rockabilly Magazine recently described them thusly: "'Smooth' is an apt description for the surf/billy/blues melange wrought by North Californians...(Los High Tops). 'Melodic' also serves handily. 'Aggressive' is here too, though rightly as but one cooperative factor in the splendid whole."

THE SUBORBITALS are a sax-driven quartet originally out of Monterey where they've attained near cult status by delivering wild live shows full of slinky, literary rock and songs about sex, drugs and death. As Sleepy John Sandidge of KPIG recently attested, ""I wouldn't think [The Suborbitals] ever get compared to anyone else. It's a unique sound...and dark. It's really wonderful."
