The independent curator Christine Y. Kim divides her time between New York and her native city of Los Angeles. Until recently she was the associate curator at the Studio Museum in Harlem, where she organized a number of thematic and solo exhibitions—including the seminal trilogy Freestyle, Frequency, and Flow—that examined the work of emerging artists from a global perspective.
