Description

EL OTRO MUNDO presents
Leathal - DJs Christopher and Paul Leath combine their respective talents to become tag team "Leathal." As part of the respected alternative label El Otro Mundo, both are independently strong DJs in their own right having developed their sounds over number of years and traveled worldwide to enhance their individual musical palettes. This one off night promises to be refreshing one.

Jeff Mills, along with Robert Hood, Carl Craig, and Joey Beltram, is one of the biggest American names in techno. Championed for his music's relentless pursuit of hardness and his stripped-down, almost industrial DJ sets, Mills is the latest in a long line of Detroit-bred talent to take on an international reputation. Alland Byallo - The SF Bay Guardian called him "San Francisco's very own tidal wave of techno", and for good reason.

Alland Byallo is one of the busiest men in the San Francisco techno community. Having produced electronic music for over 10 years and DJing for nearly as long Alland come to be an international DJ playing some of the world's greatest venues and major US electronic music festivals, releasing original material and remixes on respected US and European record labels such as Liebe*Detail, Floppy Funk, Utensil Recordings and Dirtybird among many others, and headlining events all over. His music, a blend of old and new elements of techno, house and minimal, is regularly charted and has been licensed to CD’s released by Universal, Proton Music and Airdrop Music.

Derek (aka The Rhythmist, Number 8, Boxbanga ) has been making electronic music since 1987. His deep and shuffled grooves layered with abstract textures and funky, disjointed melodies have a futuristic quality that gets your body moving. He teamed up with local veteran producer Mattski and Solid Trax label manager Lucas Rodenbush to launch the Trax Cafe project in 1997. Their EP helped Derek to land apperances on two compilations and to get his own EP on Resource Records.Derek launched the DoBox Recordings netlabel in 2003 to promote his sound and other like-minded producers from around the world.
