There’s really no competition. Le Papillon is Silicon Valley’s definitive French restaurant. Although it’s been open since 1977, chef Scott Cooper continues to innovate and keep things exciting and delicious.

Set in a bunkerlike building on busy Saratoga Avenue, Le Papillon is like another world inside--a fancy, elegant yet nonsnooty world with truly outstanding and technically challenging French food with a slight Asian influence.
