Description
Have you started working on a nonfiction book or memoir but haven’t written your book proposal yet? The proposal is the document you send to agents and editors. Typically it’s written before the book. The best proposals are like sales pitches, making a case for why the book needs to be written, why now, and why you’re the best person for the job. It could be up to 60 pages double spaced, so writing one is a serious undertaking. Sadly, about 95 percent aren’t read much further than the first page because most writers don’t bother to find out what agents and editors want. But take heart! You can break out of the rejection heap by taking this class and crafting an irresistible proposal.
