Description
I got involved with music at around the age of five. I started playing guitar then, and took lessons just trying to get knowledge of basic theory in music. I gradually transitioned into playing classical guitar for about 10 years. I also played a bit of flamenco guitar and jazz guitar as well. While I was playing guitar throughout these years, I listened to hip-hop music all the time, and was so fascinated by all the different beats I was hearing. Around my freshman year I started playing around with different music softwares, and was just hooked to it. I started remaking popular hip hop beats just for fun, and also started making my own beats. I did this for a couple years up until I hit my senior year. I started remixing songs early in 2014 and during that summer I entered 3LAU’s remix competition for his song “How You Love Me.” He ended up picking my song as the winner, and from then on I have just been working as hard as I can do make the best music possible.I try not to put a specific genre to the music I make. A lot of people will say that it is more “chill trap” but I just like to make music that is pleasant to listen to. I want to branch out and make all different types of music eventually and just want to keep learning as much as possible.
