Description
The San Jose State University School of Art and Design presents a lecture with Dr. Juliet Wiersema about the Moche, one of the many pre-Columbian cultures to represent their architecture in miniature in ceramic vessels that doubled as functional containers and acoustic artifacts. These unique objects are one of the best sources of information on Moche architectural remains. This presentation will explore the ways that architectural space was created and pictorially communicated by the potters of the Moche.
