Guiding young dancers closer to their dreams of a professional career in dance!
Founded in 1997, Journey Dance Company is a Non Profit 501(c)3 Corporation dedicated to giving aspiring young dancers the training and experience for a professional career in the dance industry.
Through a careful audition process, JDC seeks dancers between 8 and 21 years of age who exude the essential qualities a dancer must have to stand out among the crowd: potential, a solid technical foundation, musicality, the ability to work well with others and support their peers, versatility, professionalism and an innate passion for dance.
These dancers begin working closely with our resident and guest choreographers to create repertoire that each company will perform and compete annually.
Ensuring a strong technical foundation and versatility in all styles of dance, the repertoire consists of Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Musical Theater!
