Oakland's newest venue, The New Parish presents: J Boogie's Dubtronic Science, featuring himself and other frequent contributors including Jazz Mafia on horns, Rene Flores on Afro Latin percussion, Aima the Dreamer and Rich Armstrong on vocals, and often other special guests like Deuce Eclipse and Zumbi of Zion I. Although Dubtronic Science uses production techniques popularized in Dub music, their music does not fall squarely under that genre but encompasses a number of electronic genre's with organic roots.
