Written by Best of Fringe 2004 winner Diane Karagienakos (and based on true events), It Is What It Is Incorporates multimedia (text messaging, emailing) to illustrate the many simultaneous conversations we have at any given time. It is the story of three estranged siblings who reunite at their elderly father's death bed. In doing so, it comes to light how our childhood memories shape the people we become, and how -- consciously or unconsciously -- we shape new experiences to become memories that will project ourselves as the adults we'd like to be.
