Description
"In The Container," an evening of performance art and modern dance, explores the conflict between reality and past memories and experiences. This collaborative work features choreography by Ashley Burnett and Andi Clegg, an original score by Daniel Berkman, and sculpture by David Duskin.Ashley and Andi have been collaborating on large-scale performance projects since 1998, while dancing together at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. This event marks their premiere evening-length work in San Francisco, after many years of performing throughout New York and Chicago. They are interested in the creative energy and profound changes found while collaborating with artists of many disciplines and invite the San Francisco audience to experience this exciting evening with them.
