Description

The Winchester Orchestra, under music director Henry Mollicone, presents selections from the holiday favorite The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky, Richard Addinsell’s dramatic Warsaw Concerto, with local music composer and instructor Paul Davies, soloist, and the Polovetsian Dances from Alexander Borodin’s operatic masterpiece Prince Igor, with the West Valley College Masterworks Choir, Lou De La Rosa, music director. Also on the program are Vivaldi’s Concerto for 4 violins and orchestra in b minor and the world premiere of Stanley Hoffman’s The Lord is my Shepherd
