Description
The Museum of Performance & Design is proud to present HELLO, CAROL! A Celebration of Carol Channing, the first major retrospective exhibition ever mounted on the life and work of this Broadway and Hollywood legend beginning Friday, September 26, 2008 and running through March 14, 2009.

With unparalleled access to Ms. Channing's personal collection, the Museum of Performance & Design's exhibition will include stunning original costumes ranging from the original 1964 Hello, Dolly! dress, which has become an icon of American musical theatre, to one-of-a-kind outfits created by Hollywood legend Bob Mackie, rare photographs, video and audio clips from throughout Ms. Channing's career, posters, programs, scripts, original drawings by Al Hirschfeld and such distinctive memorabilia as her Tony and Golden Globe Awards.

HELLO, CAROL! A Celebration of Carol Channing will run Friday, September 26, 2008 through March 14, 2009. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 12 -5 p.m.
