Description
Curzio Malaparte is sent to Romania in 1941 as a war correspondent for Italy’s leading newspaper. He is in desperate need of medical help and he was given the name of a doctor who could solve his medical problem. This doctor is nowhere to be found, leading Malaparte to begin a search in which he witnesses, after the fact, the results of a major pogrom at Jassy.
