The first Bay Area restaurant seminar of its kind with multiple experts on energy efficient equipment, green influenced architecture and design, cost saving practices for water management & waste disposal and tips on marketing to eco conscious consumers. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience, size or location.Speakers include water conservation specialists Carrie Pollard and Sean McNeil of the Sonoma County Water Agency; architect Jim Maxwell, who has completed over 80 restaurant projects throughout California; Todd Bell from PG&E and nationally recognized expert Ritu Primlani of Thimmakka, winner of the 2003 California Governor’s Award for Leadership in Economic and Environmental Partnerships.
Twenty year hospitality industry veteran Joan Simon of Full Plate Restaurant Consulting will offer her perspective on the marketing advantages of a green oriented business and will also serve as the seminar’s moderator. Sponsored by the Sonoma Environmental Business Alliance.
