Description
Attention all Garlic Lovers!

Today is Sunday and the last day to enjoy the Annual Gilroy Garlic Fesival. If you have not yet been here to experience the Garlic Fest, today is your day! With celebrity appearances and special events, today will be a great finale!

Saturday was a hit! There was a shady spot for everyone and Gourmet Alley was pumping out delicious garlicy grub. With the expansion of the festival grounds, we all had more room to enjoy ourselves. Again, thanks to the back country roads the traffic was at a minimum. The Free garlic ice cream was worth the drive!

Friday is already off to a good start. Not much traffic from San Jose on 101, but you can also try Monterey Rd and/or Santa Teresa. Tons of tasty food options and live music almost everywhere you go within the park. The entire park has lush lawns and the people are loving it!

The Annual Gilroy Garlic Festival is the “Ultimate Summer Food Fair”; three days of incredible food, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and cooking demonstrations.

If you have never attended a Garlic Festival, this is your year!

*60 Food vendors:
Pepper Steak Sandwiches, Garlic Ice Cream, Cajun Crawfish, Frog Legs, Shrimp Scampi, Pest Pasta, Alligator, Garlic Sausage, Stuffed Mushrooms, Garlic Potato Skins and dozens more delicious garlicy foods!

*Gourmet Alley:
A trip to the Festival is not validated until you’ve visited Gourmet Alley and enjoyed an array of delicacies that include stuffed mushrooms, peppersteak sandwiches, pasta con pesto, calamari, scampi, Italian sausage sandwiches, garlic bread and garlic fries.
Gourmet Alley’s chefs share their preparation secrets in hourly cooking seminars on the Demonstration Stage presented by Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria.
10 tons of beef … 4 tons of pasta … 4 tons of calamari … 2 tons of scampi …
plus 2 tons of fresh Christopher Ranch garlic …

*53 Live music performances:

*Over 100 arts and crafts vendors:

On July 26th, Fabio Vivani, the dynamic star of Bravo Television Network’s “Top Chef” series, will host the Gilroy Garlic Festival Garlic Showdown

*The Children’s Area is a grand place for Garlic Festival guests of all ages. There are games to play, crafts to make, stories to hear and food to eat. We’ll travel back to the times of Knights, Princesses, and Dragons! The Children’s Area is located at Mulberry West for the second year now. It is full of spectacular rides, fun activities and more … a fun place the whole family can enjoy!
Here ye, here ye! Get your princess or prince a whole host of wonderful things: face painting, wax hands, rides and jump houses, arts and crafts and even get a commemorative photo at our Dress-Up Photo Booth for their very own Garlic Times photo-shoot. Saving a damsel in distress is a hard job for anyone! So once the kids work up an appetite, enjoy our assortment of festival favorites. These include pretzels, sodas, hot dogs, soft frozen lemonade.
