Ever hungry on a Wednesday night? Want to learn a bit about cooking and meet interesting people? Into eating vegetarian for a reasonable price? If so, you might be interested in Frugal Foodies, the weekly gathering of 8-12 people who cook a 4 course vegetarian meal together, all for $8.

June 18th, 2008- What better way to kick off the first Frugal Foodies, San Jose than with a special guest ingredient night? This month’s special ingredient is Pineapple. Pineapples are sweet, tart and versatile. We will be making an appetizer, entrée and dessert with this yummy fruit.

June 25th, 2008- Frittatas, fruit, crepes, French toast, coffee and smoothies… breakfast time is a nostalgic time for many. Good food and good conversations are always exchanged at this meal time.
