Free Comic Book DayPutting the fun back in literacy.by Staff on Apr 21, 2009Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) comes once a year—on the first Saturday in May—when participating shops across the nation and around the world give away comic books to anyone who walks in the door. It’s a celebration—at certain locations, talking cars, sci-fi stars and stalwart super-heroes will be the order of the day on FCBD ’09.
