More than 80,000 children are in foster care in California. Studies find that as many as 84 percent of them experience a mental health problem. How can the state give foster kids a chance at adapting to life without the burden of untreated mental illness? This panel will showcase local organizations that are bridging the gap between over-extended case workers and foster parents, so children in foster care can get the help they need and deserve.
