Description

San Jose East siders Firme found a local following back in the late '90s/early 2000s with their blend of ska, reggae, pop and Latin rock. They proved that dance music is best when it's influenced by multiple styles of music and cultures. It's been five years since their last show (which was at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, opening for Manu Chao). This show will be a one-off sort of thing, apparently. There will be horns, percussion, all the elements that made them great. For anyone new to the scene, Christian Vela, the guitarist and singer for Los Hot Boxers, used to be in Firme.
