Description

Bay Choral Guild opens its 31st season with a delightful concert of Baroque Masterworks. In celebration of the feast day (November 22) of the patron saint of music, is the performed Messa di Santa Cecilia of Alessandro Scarlatti.

The concert finishes with the luminous Beatus vir, a dramatic setting of Psalm 112 by Claudio Monteverdi. Sanford Dole, BCG Artistic Director, directs the BCG chorus, the Jubilate Orchestra, David Wilson concertmaster, and three soloists - soprano Ann Moss, and mezzos Elspeth Franks, and Sonia Gariaeff.

All three highly regarded singers enjoy active careers both locally and nationwide
in chamber music, opera, oratorio and recital performance. Join Maestro
