Come on down to the Red Rock Coffee Company as they present an evening of contemporary Americana music with Fat Opie, along with Michael Steven. Lead by singer/songwriter Scott Mickelson, the Bay Area-based Fat Opie attempts to reinvent what can be termed "Americana", creating music that Alternative Press Magazine has called "American folk-Rock with a post punk edge, rustic but scarred". Many of the band's songs paint musical and lyrical portraits of contemporary life as an American, maintaining a tight groove yet not without its raw power.More Info
