"So to my city, I'm just trying to put you on, and to them pretty girls watching, I'm just trying to get you home," states Richmond's Erk tha Jerk on his 2011 single "Reach the Top." Erk first made a splash back in 2009 with the smooth-talking regional hit "Right Here." Since then, he's released a steady stream of mixtapes, most recently last April's Thirds Eye View. The part-rapper/part-singer will pay a visit to Mountain View alongside San Jose's J-Shift. Shift's mixtape That's Wassup adds his South Bay perspective over bangers like Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre's "The Recipe" and Kanye West's "Theraflu."
