Description
Bill Moyers' inspiring short documentary, "The Road to Clean Elections," will be featured at a meeting co-sponsored by the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom and the League of Women Voters on Tuesday, November 17. The documentary shows the success of publicly financed campaigns working right now in both Arizona and Maine!Carol Cross, a speaker from the California Fair Elections Act campaign, will explain the provisions of the Act which will be on the ballot in June of 2010, and answer your questions about how it will work. Carol is a member of Palo Alto WILPF and a full-time community activist.
Quaker Meeting House, 225 Rooney (end of Morrissey Blvd), 7pm Tuesday, November 17, free – donations happily accepted.
