Description

Artist Dread Scott will lecture on his current project that focuses on the arc of communist revolution as he "encourages the viewer to envision how the world could be" in Art 133 on the opening night of his exhibit Revolutionary Archive, developed to premiere at San Jose State.

With his art, Scott intends to "propel history forward" while exploring a wide range of media to "illuminate the misery that this society creates for so many." The pieces on display emphasize the importance of the exchange of new ideas and making room for revolutionary innovation.
