The JCC's free Winter Speaker Series, where local scholars share what they are working on and thinking about. This is an opportunity to find out what's at the forefront of Judaic studies. Tonight'sDr. Nathaniel Deutch is the Director of the Center for Jewish Studies at the UC Santa Cruz, and co-founder of the Swarthmore College Beit Midrash Center for the Study of Classical Jewish Texts.
