What is there to be angry about in Hollister? For starters, it's going to take Domino and the Derelicts an hour just to drive to their gig at the Caravan Lounge. Hollister is that far away. Little towns all across the country, like Hollister, seem to spawn the loudest, angriest punk bands, which is good for us big-city dwellers. And all that anger is channeled by only two members, with Domino taking the lead vocals and guitar duty, while her back-up band, the Derelicts, which is really just one guy-drummer Bill-pounds the skins. Raw, passionate music, for sure, but also a lot of fun. Their "Bad Reputation" cover is a delight.
