The theater itself is a wonderland of surprises, replete with lavish lobby decorations, a boutique of ballet and holiday treasures, choirs singing carols, the "Pocket Lady" passing out free toys, and characters from the show posing for photos with the children and their families.The opening night celebration will include, Supper-By-The-Bite catered by some of the finest restaurants in the South Bay, local wines, live entertainment, donation drawings and a silent auction with celebrity commentator Leigh Weimers as Master of Ceremonies. $250 with Dress Circle ticket to THE NUTCRACKER. $165 for the event only. It will be held in the Tented Pavilion at the Center for the Performing Arts.
Especially for the little ones. Following every matinee performance (except the closing performance on Dec 27) there will be Nutcracker High Teas held in the Tented Pavilion at the Center for the Performing Arts. Adults: $50 Children: $30. A traditional high tea of snacks and beverages, face painters, balloon artists, characters from the show and much more.
