Description
This quirky comedy follows the aftermath of Naveen Chandra Gupta's death. Guptra left behind an unusual request in his will: that he be cremated on the shore with the "proper rites and ceremonies," just as he cremated his own father in India 30 years before. As his friends struggle to honor his last wish, they learn a new things about their old friend, a little about themselves, and a lot about what it means for an Indian to die in America. Described as "sometimes sad and sometimes hilarious," this is the world premiere of Sujit Saraf's 9th play.
