Description
Seattle's Death by Steamship play some loud, dissonant minimalist punk rock that hints at '70s garage rock, but sticks closer to the awkward, jagged riffs of the Gang of Four. Their lead vocalist has a commanding voice perfect for a hardcore band (or to replace lead vocalist Spencer Moody in Murder City Devils, if he ever gets laryngitis) Their songs have a fun, vibrant freshness to them, though the lyrics suggest a band that is dead serious and has something to say.
