Description
The Cypress String Quartet concludes its 2014-15 Salon Series at the historic Woman's Club of Palo Alto's Clubhouse. The program will feature additional performances of a new quartet commissioned through the Cypress Quartet's annual Call & Response program - Philippe Hersant's String Quartet No. 4. The Cypress just gave the world premiere of the piece on April 10 at Marines Memorial Theatre, and is so enthusiastic about the new work that they are programming repeat performances. The Hersant will be paired with Beethoven's Op. 18, No. 6 and his Op. 59, No. 3.
