Cropburner believes their music should be called "ganja metal," and I, for one, am convinced. On Facebook, they list their influences as: "Black Sabbath, The Melvins, Sleep and Black Sabbath." Wow, if they are as high when they play the Caravan as they were when they listed their influences, then we know we're in for some awesome, super slow, sludgy, trippy ganja metal for sure. Might be as good as Black Sabbath, or even Black Sabbath. They play with San Jose's the Conceal, whose self-described "rock/loud/ugly" music is in a similar vein. - Aaron Carnes sanjose.com
