Guitarist Mark "Cleveland Fats" Hahn started playing with one of traditional blues' remaining masters, Robert Lockwood Jr., in 1973, when he was just 18; on his own likable 1998 debut album, The Other Side of Midnight, he builds on that foundation without sounding overly retro.
