Robert Dougherty, senior research scientist at Stanford University, Palo Also, will give the lecture “Chuck Close: The Science of Perception” at the San Jose Museum of Art on Thursday, October 29, at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $8 (members free). The lecture is offered in connection with the exhibition Chuck Close Prints: Process and Collaboration, on view October 6, 2009 through January 10, 2010.
