Patricia Sweetow Gallery is pleased to welcome Christian Nguyen, who lives and works in New York, in his first one-person exhibition, Place of Origin. On view will be charcoal line/landscape drawings and cast Styrofoam sculpture. In addition, the gallery presents Looking Back with David Huffman, Kim Anno, Bernhard Hartter, and Fred Hayes.For his one-person exhibition, Place of Origin, Christian Nguyen (b 1968, Saigon, Vietnam) creates an environment of large scale architectural/landscape drawings on canvas, along with cast Styrofoam sculpture. Nguyen's work muses over the philosophical relationship between architecture as an invocation of power and spirituality.
