Description

The Shoestring Theatre, in conjunction with the Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos presents the muscial comedy "Bye Bye Birdie". This is a multigenerational production about a 50's rock star who is inducted into the army, and the people who try to take advantage of the event by promoting his last kiss on the "Ed Sullivan Show".

Some well known songs originated from this 1960 Broadway show such as "Kids" and "Put on a Happy Face". Admission is free, donations gladly accepted. There is a live orchestra and professional lighting and scenery. Free refreshments at intermission. No reserved seats except for special needs, call Kris 374-2579.
