Description
The Children's Musical Theater San Jose is proud to present its newest production, "Bye, Bye Birdie". This classic musical transports the audience back to the 1950s with such popular tunes as "Telephone Hour", "We've Got a Lot of Livin' to Do" and "Put on a Happy Face". The story follows teen heart-throb and rock 'n' roll superstar Conrad Birdie as he promises to give one final kiss to an adoring fan before he gets drafted into the army. Fun trivia fact: the original 1960 production was inspired by Elvis' actual stint with the military.
