Description

Buxter Hoot’n is an experience not to be missed. In a year’s time, this young, prolific band has moved from relative anonymity to one of the most exciting live bands on the Bay Area scene. Buxter Hoot’n is an acoustically based band, but electric instruments are often brought into the mix. On lead guitar and violin, Ben Andrews is one the most exciting young multi-instrumentalists in rock music. Songwriter, Vince Dewald has created an ever-growing catalogue of songs that is both poignant lyrically and stylistically diverse. With brother, Jim Dewald on bass and Jeremy Shanok on drums, the band interplay reaches ecstatic heights and leaves listeners knowing they have experienced something wholly unique. Simply put, Buxter Hoot’n’s authentic lyrics and extended jams make them one of the great new bands of today.
