Five-time Grammy Award winning blues guitarist and singer Buddy Guy makes a special appearance at the Marin Center alongside Marin County blues legend Elvin Bishop for a night that is sure to bring the house down! Known as an inspiration to Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and many other guitarists, Buddy Guy’s music can vary from the most traditional blues to a creative, unpredictable mix of the blues, avant rock, soul and free jazz that morphs at each night’s performance. Elvin Bishop stirs up every party with a bluesy stew of slide guitar and groovin’ rhythms which have earned him the reputation as one of the most respected and beloved artists to come out of the ‘60s blues-rock explosion.
