Come on down to the Poor House Bistro as they welcome Brother Tyrone & the Mindbenders to their stage for some amazing live music. Brother Tyrone is an old-school R&B singer who has been performing in his hometown of New Orleans for decades. Inspired by his idol James Brown after catching him perform live when he was only eight years old, Brother Tyrone has stuck to the traditional R&B, soul and funk that he loved so much since his childhood. His songs blend those old blues and soul sounds with lyrics about life in New Orleans, including the gritty details of dealing with Hurricane Katrina.
