Britannia Arms Downtown in San Jose celebrates its 10th anniversary Thursday, beginning at 5pm with a complimentary buffet and breaking out into a full-blown bash at 7pm when DJ Benofficial starts spinning. Owner John Conway has made the British pub a hub for Anglophiles over the last decade, so it's only fair that the Brit's anniversary celebration ties in to the Queen's Jubilee and the London Olympics. "We want to give back a little bit to our regulars who've kept us here for 10 years," says Margaret Handyside, a partner at the Downtown Brit. "We just want everybody to celebrate."
