What exactly is a Bread Club? Is that some sort of place where kids go to snack on the latest Kaiser rolls and sourdough loaves? According to the band's website, they are simply a band that loves Caps bass player "Bread" so much they named their band after him. Indeed, that is devotion. But Bread Club doesn't play rough-around-the-edges, old-school punk like Caps; they mix lush shoegaze guitars with a bit of pop-punk and math rock. The sound jumps all over the place with impressive technical precision, without sacrificing an ounce of raw energy. Their self-titled album showcases their impressive dueling guitar work.
