Here’s a simple question: What is hardcore music to the average person? Is it inconceivably repulsive, obnoxious and downright disgusting? Does it lack even the smallest shred of digestibility, like swallowing a pack of razor blades? Funny, because I think that’s kind of the intent. Case in point: Orange County’s Bleeding Through, a band that is seemingly furious beyond fury, driven to make music that will curdle your blood and shake your spine. But taking things to an artistic extreme is just part of creative exploration. Now if I can just get the hair on my neck to settle down.
