"In all of my work I use color and light as the primary players in my attempts to depict and/or elicit emotion. My figurative work is concerned with the relationship between the isolation of the individual and the universally shared experience of human emotion. In my landscapes my goal is to express nature’s ability to transform us, to take us out of ourselves and astound us with its strength and magnificence."
