Description

An expensive modern art painting effects the friendship of three men in this smart and witty Tony award-winning play Yasmina Reza, translated into English by Christopher Hampton. The acquisition of a very expensive, all-white painting sets off colorful conflicts between an aspiring art collector and his two close friends. Originally produced in 1995 in Paris, this sophisticated send-up of modern art, framed by the hilarious exploration of loyalty and friendship, has been translated into 30 languages and won a Tony for Best Play in 1998.
