The Flint Center hosts "An Evening With Dr. Stephen Hawking And Friends" as part of the Linus Pauling Memorial Lectures series. Dr. Stephen Hawking is the Lucasian Professor at Cambridge University, a position once held by Sir Isaac Newton, and has been a world leader in research on black holes, the birth of the universe, and the nature of space, time and gravity for over 45 years. In this informative lecture, entitled "Out of a Black Hole", he will discuss the topic of black holes and how things can get out of a black hole to the outside and, possibly, on to another universe.
