Description
Immerse yourself in a world of colors and textures at this exhibition at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles. An ode to the artistry of tapestry-weaving, the show will feature creative cloth constructions from a variety of artists hailing from eight different countries. Among the featured tapestries are works by Berkeley resident Lia Cook, who uses a combination of weaving, painting, photography and video. Cook will display work spanning the entirety of her career—from the '80s to today. Some of her pieces were completed only a few weeks before the exhibit. (DSJ)
