Description
The final evening of Cinema Supper Club: A Cultural Kaleidoscope at the Legion of Honor on May 8 presents a screening of the flashy and revealing musical All that Jazz (1979). Don’t miss your last chance to escape the crowds in an after-hours visit to Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer’s Life, 1990–2005. The film series comes to a close with Bob Fosse’s autobiographical musical that celebrates the raunchy underbelly of show business. The Oscar-winning film details the sordid life of Joe Gideon (Roy Schneider), a womanizing, drug-using dancer. On Thursday evenings, the Legion Café serves an expanded menu of bistro favorites, and the special exhibition and Museum Store stay open until 9 pm.Look for the return of Cinema Supper Club to the Legion this summer with a new series that presents movies filmed in San Francisco and after-hours access to the highly-anticipated summer exhibition, Women Impressionists: Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Eva Gonzalès, Marie Bracquemond.More Info
