Description
A San Jose native, Tana is a well renowned and sought after drummer. He has worked with many Jazz greats like Sonny Rollins, Jim Hall, Art Farmer and many others.He recorded a CD with his quintet known as TanaReid (which he led with bassist Rufus Reid), "A Tribute to We Montgomery," which also featured keyboardists Kei Akagi and Ted Lo, Kenny Burrell, Kevin Eubanks and five guitarists.
His most recent CD is "Secret Agent Men," which features guitarist Rodney Jones and organist Dr. Lonnie Smith.
